Mohamed Raif, head of the committee appointed to manage the Ismaili Club, revealed the fate of the protest filed by his club due to refereeing errors in the Dervishes’ recent matches, due to which the club threatened to withdraw from the Premier League championship.

In television statements, Mohamed Raif revealed that the Ismaili club received a letter last night from the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association, in which the association revealed that it had referred Ismaili’s complaint and protest regarding arbitration errors to the Football Association, since the referees’ committee is affiliated with the latter.

Raef revealed that the Football Association has not yet responded to the Ismaili Club’s request to listen to the conversations that took place between the arena referees and the VAR in the last two matches of the Dervishes team.

Raif pointed out that the Ismaili Club adheres to its right to hear these conversations to know the details of the conversation that took place between the two referees, especially since reviewing some arbitration cases took a long time, one of which reached about 6 minutes.

Al-Ismaili’s last match against the Ismailia Kahraba team witnessed major protests on the part of the Ismaili team’s technical staff, after two goals by the Dervishes team were cancelled.

The Ismaili Club confirmed in its official protest sent to the Club Association and the Football Association that it will reserve its right to take what it deems appropriate to preserve its interests and rights, including the option of officially withdrawing from the league competition and not completing it, out of concern for the rights of the club and its fans.
