The investigation authorities in Qalyubia ordered the imprisonment of a gang consisting of unemployed people, for a period of 4 days pending investigations, accusing them of stealing livestock from inside homes in the village of Shablinga in the Banha Police Station District in Qalyubia Governorate, following their arrest and the recovery of the stolen items by the security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate.

A gang specialized in livestock theft was imprisoned in Benha pending investigations

Information had been received by Major General Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of the General Department of Qalyubia Investigations, and Major General Wael Metwally, Head of Qalyubia Investigations, from Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Rabie, Chief of Investigations at the Banha Center, that a gang of unemployed people was carrying out a criminal activity specializing in stealing livestock from inside the warehouses in the village of Shablinga.

After codifying the procedures, the Benha Center investigation officers, led by Major Mohamed Salah, and assisted by Captains Amr Tahoun and Mohamed Ramadan, were able to arrest the accused and recover the stolen items.

A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation, which issued its earlier decision to imprison the accused.
