The security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate, under the supervision of Major General Ashraf Gaballah, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Qalyubia Security Sector, succeeded in controlling a gang formation specializing in the manufacture of firearms in the city of Al-Khosos.
Information had been received by Major General Mohamed Al-Sayed, Director of the General Department of Qalyubia Investigations, and Major General Wael Metwally, Head of Qalyubia Investigations, from Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abdel Jalil, Chief of Investigations at the Al-Khosos Police Department, indicating that 9 highly dangerous criminal elements had formed a gang formation to manage a firearms manufacturing workshop in the department’s department.
After codifying the procedures, a security force led by Major Ahmed Al-Khouli, and Captains Mustafa Al-Sharif, Ziad Hassan, and Muhammad Al-Jazzar, assistants to the chief of investigations, were able to raid the workshop site, arrest the accused, and find in their possession a quantity of manufactured weapons, in addition to a large group of tools and parts used in the manufacturing process.
When confronted, the defendants admitted to committing the aforementioned criminal activity.
The necessary legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution was notified to initiate the investigation
