Engineer Ibrahim Mekki, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, announced the approval of the modernization of 85 new urban spaces within the centers of Sidi Salem, Motobas, Desouk, and Kafr El-Sheikh.

This comes in light of the governorate’s direction towards planned urban expansion and achieving sustainable development, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

The governor of Kafr El-Sheikh explained that the modernization of the new urban estate, which includes 66 estates and 19 villages in those centers, aims to legalize building conditions, facilitate licensing procedures, and enhance infrastructure projects and public services, in a way that contributes to improving the quality of life and organizing urban expansion in the governorate.

The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh stressed the state’s keenness to accommodate population growth, preserve agricultural lands, and limit random expansion, within the sustainable development plans implemented by the governorate in coordination with the concerned authorities.
