Counselor Mohamed Salah Al-Feki, the first general attorney for the East Tanta Public Prosecution Office, gave his urgent directives to open an investigation into the death of a government employee at the hands of a young man who was stabbed with treacherous stab wounds while he was inside his office in the Republic region.

The Public Prosecution also directed the imprisonment of the young man accused of narcotic substance abuse for 4 days pending investigations at an earlier time until statements from the victim’s family are taken and eyewitnesses are heard, in addition to unloading surveillance cameras surrounding the accident site.

The security forces in the Gharbia Security Directorate succeeded in arresting an unemployed drug addict for ending the life of an employee inside his office with treacherous stab wounds using a sharp object after he repeated the phrase, “I will be done with you, you Jewish sheikh,” which killed him instantly. A report was issued on the incident and the Public Prosecution was notified for investigation.
In the same context, the family of a government employee appealed to all relevant investigation authorities, led by the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Interior, to quickly punish the accused, take all legal measures against him, and refer him to an urgent criminal trial.

The events of the incident occurred when the security services in the Gharbia Security Directorate received a notification from the commander of the second police station in Mahalla, stating that a report had been received from the Rescue Police about the arrival of “Muhammad A.,” 54 years old, with treacherous stab wounds to the abdomen and who breathed his last inside Mahalla General Hospital.

Security leaders and forces from the secret and regular police also moved to the scene of the incident to monitor its latest developments.
By regulating the security procedures and preparing fixed and mobile ambushes, the investigation officers of the Mahalla Thani Police Department, headed by Major Muhammad Eid, and forces from the secret and regular police, were able to arrest the accused and take him to the department’s office.
