Samsung announced the world’s first 130-inch Micro-RGB TV, with full coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, during the CES 2026 events in Las Vegas (January 6 to 9, 2026). This announcement is a revolutionary step in the field of large displays, combining cutting-edge Micro-LED technology with a full RGB system to deliver unprecedented picture quality.

The new display features Micro-RGB technology that relies on millions of individual red, green and blue micro-LEDs, eliminating the need for traditional color filters or backlighting, and delivers high brightness up to thousands of lumens, nearly infinite contrast, and vivid colors covering 100% of the BT.2020 gamut, currently the widest color standard. This means that the TV is able to produce more accurate and realistic colors compared to traditional or even Mini-LED displays.

The screen measures 130 inches, making it ideal for luxury home use or home cinema, with support for 8K resolution or higher, and high refresh rates for a smooth viewing experience. It also features better energy efficiency and durability compared to OLED displays, without the risk of burn-in. Samsung did not reveal a specific price in the announcement, but it is expected to exceed $100,000 given the high cost of Micro-LED technology in large sizes, with limited market availability through 2026 or 2027.
