Samsung announced its new Galaxy Book 6 series of laptops during the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas on January 6, 2026. It includes the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6 360 models, with new Intel Panther Lake processors for the first time in Samsung devices.
The Galaxy Book 6 Edge comes with a 16-inch AMOLED display with 3K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate, with a maximum Intel Core Ultra 9 388H processor, up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory, 2TB SSD storage, and a battery that lasts up to 22 hours. It features a slim 12.5mm and 1.45kg design, with a backlit keyboard and Thunderbolt 5 ports.
As for the Galaxy Book 6 Pro, it is available in 14- and 16-inch sizes with AMOLED 3K screens, a Core Ultra 7 366H processor, with RTX 4050 graphics card options in the 16-inch model for gaming and productivity, and a battery that lasts up to 20 hours.
The Galaxy Book 6 360 comes as a 360-degree foldable device with a 16-inch OLED touch screen, with support for the S Pen, and a Core Ultra 9 processor, combining the functions of a computer and a tablet.
The series relies on AI technologies via the on-board NPU, with Galaxy AI integrating features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and the Samsung Studio video editing app. The device supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The price of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge starts at $1,499, the Galaxy Book 6 Pro starts at $1,299, and the Galaxy Book 6 360 starts at $1,699, with availability in the market during the first quarter of 2026.
The series is promoted as a solid alternative to devices like the MacBook Pro, with an emphasis on performance and integration with the Galaxy ecosystem.
