The result of voting for the seat of captain was as follows: Dr. Mohamed Mohamed El-Gohary – 504 votes, Dr. Ramadan Abdel-Al 427 votes, and Engineer Imad Ishaq got (203). The head of the Elections Committee confirmed that the electoral process took place under full judicial supervision, amid adherence to the regulating rules and guarantees of transparency, noting that the turnout reflected a great union awareness of the Port Said engineers and their eagerness to participate in choosing their representatives.

Regarding the membership of the Syndicate Council, the Chairman of the Committee announced that seven candidates had won the seats allocated to the various divisions, and the results were as follows: Engineer Taha Omar Ali, Engineer Abdel Rahman Dagher, and Engineer Heba Al-Saeed won for the Mechanical Engineering Division.

The Civil Engineering Division seat was also won by Engineer Hassan Abdel Rahman Bassiouni, the Architectural Engineering Division seat was won by Engineer Sherine Nasr, and the Miscellaneous Engineering Division seat was won by Engineer Haitham Al-Saeed Moselhi.

Engineer Wael Harz indicated that the run-off for the captain’s seat will take place next Friday, February 7, according to the approved timetable, to complete the electoral eligibility and decide the position.
