The site’s operations manager said weather Al-Arab Osama Al-Tarifi said that the Kingdom of Jordan will be affected today, Monday, by an air depression classified as third degree, moderate to highly effective, despite the short duration of its impact, as it begins gradually on Monday morning and continues until the hours of Monday/Tuesday night.
According to what was published by Jordanian media, Al-Tarifi stated that the depression will bring comprehensive rain to the north and center of the Kingdom and the southern highlands, with expectations that it will be heavy at times in the north of the Kingdom, and may be accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail.
Strong wind gusts in Jordan
He added that the afternoon and afternoon hours will witness strong wind gusts reaching speeds of 90-100 km/hour, especially in the eastern and desert regions, which is expected to cause heavy sand storms on desert roads.
Al-Tarifi concluded by emphasizing the importance of preparing for the downturn and following weather instructions, calling on everyone to pray a lot and seek forgiveness, asking God to make it a source of mercy and blessing, according to the Jordanian media.
