Huawei is apparently preparing to launch a new generation of its smart glasses supported by artificial intelligence during the year 2026, after the success of its current products such as Smart Glasses 2, which was launched in China in 2025, and at that time provided a set of smart features, most notably instant translation and support for voice commands.

A new leak from reliable leaker Digital Chat Station via the Weibo platform revealed that the company is currently working on new smart glasses that run on the HarmonyOS system.

According to circulated information, these glasses will provide a built-in translation tool, in addition to the ability to take photos and record video clips, as well as record sound and listen to music via a built-in microphone and speakers. The source also indicated support for additional “new jobs” without going into details.

The leak also indicated that the upcoming glasses will rely on three lithium batteries, while maintaining a lightweight design. In addition, it is expected to support the “seamless integration between platforms” feature, which enhances the connectivity experience with other Huawei devices. It will also be available in three colors: shiny silver, gray silver, and black.

According to Digital Chat Station, Huawei may unveil these glasses during the first half of 2026, that is, before the end of June. So far, the company has not officially confirmed any details regarding this upcoming product.
