Yesterday, a set of details were published about many of the new features found in the upcoming iOS 14 system and update that has not yet been released. There are a number of leaks regarding many features that relate to the new operating system specifically, but they all appear to be some kind of new features that could accompany a major software upgrade from Apple, similar to what was stated in… ios13 system.
We will present some of these features that have been monitored and referred to in these leaks up to this moment.
First, a new application called First up
It is a new fitness application called “Seymour” and perhaps called Fit or Fitness, and it is said to be a stand-alone and independent application targeting iOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14, and not a replacement for the current Activity application.
Reportedly, the new app allows you to download a collection of fitness videos with different exercises and activities that you can do, which may expand the types of exercises that can be used in this regard.
Second: Setting recognition for another feature, which is handwriting in the new Apple system
iOS 14 has a new application programming interface called PencilKit that allows the use of the Apple Pencil and also allows handwriting recognition and conversion into plain text. MacRumors says that this package will allow you to use the Pencil to enter text in applications such as Messages, Mail, Calendar, and others. It looks like third-party developers will get some form of access to PencilKit as well.
Third: iMessage may also get some new features
iMessage may also be getting some new features in iOS 14. Apple is said to be testing features like contacts, the use of @-tagging in group chats, unsent messages, status updates, and the ability to mark messages as unread.
Meanwhile, leaks published by Apple news site 9to5Mac include details about new features for watchOS 7, improved mouse support in iPadOS, and blood oxygen monitoring for the Apple Watch, in addition to other indications that Apple is planning to launch its own over-ear headphones.
