Xiaomi has now started selling a new gaming-focused tablet. The new version, a particularly compact option, combines a 2.5K display and 144Hz refresh rate with a large battery and fast memory. Xiaomi is offering two colors at launch and is also selling the Black Shark gaming tablet globally.
Xiaomi has finally started selling its latest gaming-focused tablets globally. After being teased for more than two months, the tablet was quietly added to the Black Shark website at the beginning of February. While the list confirmed the hardware specifications, it did not indicate when, where, or for how much the Black Shark gaming tablet computer would be available.
Without warning, Xiaomi is now offering its new tablet through AliExpress in its official Black Shark store. As a reminder, the tablet computer benefits from the same third-generation Snapdragon 8S chipset found in other tablet computers such as the Xiaomi iPad 7 Pro, which is currently available at a price of $474.50 on Amazon. However, the Black Shark gaming tablet is closer in size to the Xiaomi iPad Mini thanks to its 8.8-inch screen that displays at a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

In addition, Xiaomi supplies the Black Shark gaming tablet with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 flash storage, and a 7,300 mAh battery that supports 20W charging. Xiaomi also includes a matching power adapter in the box, as well as a protective case, charging cable, and an ejector tool to access its microSD card slot.
Currently, the tablet is shipped worldwide, including the United States. The Black Shark gaming tablet comes in two color options, black and silver, both with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. Xiaomi prices the tablet at $670.97, including import duties and other taxes. Meanwhile, the same SKUs can be had in the UK for £558.59 and €635.69 in the Eurozone.
