The club’s first football team resumes Zamalek Group training today, Tuesday, in preparation for Al-Masry’s upcoming confrontation with Port Said, within the Egyptian Capital Cup, after the players received a negative rest from yesterday’s training.
The Zamalek training session will be held at the Military College Stadium, under the leadership of technical director Motamed Gamal, who officially took over the task recently after the departure of Ahmed Abdel Raouf.

In the same context, there is a trend within the Zamalek club’s football sector to make a number of changes at the level of participation policy and dealing with the Egyptian Capital Cup tournament, before the team’s final confrontation against Al-Masry Club of Port Said, which is scheduled to be held next Thursday, at the end of Zamalek’s matches in the group stage of the tournament.
According to what Cairo 24 has learned, football sector officials are considering fielding a large number of youth team players during the next Al-Masry match, while using only a limited number of first-team players, as part of a plan aimed at resting the key players and relieving the physical and psychological pressures on them during this stage.
