The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian Parliament said that Israel has begun a path whose end is no longer in its hands, in the first official reaction from within the Iranian Parliament to the recent military developments.
The Iranian official added that his country will deal with developments in proportion to the size of the threat, holding Israel responsible for the escalation and its possible repercussions in the region.
This statement comes in light of escalating tensions between the two sides, amid anticipation of additional official positions that may be issued by the Iranian government or military authorities in the coming hours.

According to the agency, explosions were heard in various areas of these cities, without issuing an immediate official statement revealing the nature of the targets or the size of the potential losses, while the competent authorities imposed a security cordon in some locations in conjunction with intense movements of ambulances and civil defense.
