During the tournament activities, one of the female athletes suffered a severe sprained ankle injury, and the healthcare authority’s medical team present at the event site immediately began providing the necessary first aid and conducting an initial assessment of the condition.
After the medical examination, it became clear that the player needed to complete the evaluation in a medical facility, where immediate coordination was made to transport her by ambulance to Al-Zohour Hospital of the General Authority for Health Care in Port Said branch, in order to complete the necessary medical examinations, where she underwent evaluation by emergency and orthopedic doctors, and an x-ray of the ankle joint was performed to check on her health condition.
