Today, Tuesday, students of the preparatory certificate in South Sinai will continue the exam for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, within 50 exam committees in 8 educational departments in the cities of the governorate.
Adel Atlam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in South Sinai, revealed to Cairo 24 that 3,681 middle school students are continuing the third day of mid-year exams in 50 committees in the governorate.
Mobile blocking:
The Undersecretary stressed the prohibition of entry of mobile devices or any devices that help in cheating, complete inspection of all students, and confronting with full force the phenomenon of cheating or any attempts to obstruct the conduct of exams, with the necessity of applying the law to everyone.
Atlam stressed on parents of students to prevent their children from bringing mobile devices so that they are not exposed to accountability, noting that any device seized within the committees will be confiscated, even if it is switched off.
Atlam pointed out that there is a self-inspection of students, whether by electronic wand or manual inspection, in order to prevent any devices that help in cheating.
The Undersecretary appealed to the heads of the committees to provide the appropriate environment for students to take exams easily and smoothly, with an emphasis on implementing the instructions and controls regulating exams, and taking the necessary measures to achieve discipline and transparency to ensure equal opportunities for all students.
He added that the operating room did not detect any violations or complaints regarding the difficulty of the exams on the first and second days, explaining that the room works around the clock to deal immediately with any emergency, wishing success to our students.
Issam Ragab, head of the secret printing press, explained that exams are conducted using the Pocket system, noting that indicative exam forms for all subjects were printed and sent to all departments. They were also published on the official public relations page, and that the exams were well reviewed and had good print quality.
Rajab added that there are 50 committees in which mid-year exams are held, including 11 committees in Mount Sinai, while in the cities of Sharm El-Sheikh, Catherine, and Nuweiba, there are 5 committees in each city, and in the city of Abu Redis, 4 committees, 3 committees in the city of Dahab, 7 committees in the city of Abu Zenima, and 10 committees in the city of Ras Sudr.
Third day exam:
Today, Tuesday, the third day of the mid-year exams, middle school students take the science exam from 9:00 to 11:00, and the engineering exam from 11:30 to 1:30.
