The Saudi Royal Court announced in a statement that King Salman bin Abdulaziz called for a prayer Dropsy In the Kingdom today, Thursday.
The statement published by the Saudi News Agency stated: Following the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad – may God bless him and grant him peace – to hold the rain prayer, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, called for the rain prayer to be held throughout the Kingdom on Thursday, corresponding to the 24th of the month of Shaban 1447 AH according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar.
He added: Everyone should increase their repentance, seek forgiveness, return to God Almighty, be kind to His servants, increase the voluntary acts of obedience such as alms, prayers, and remembrances, and make things easy for God’s servants and relieve their distress. Perhaps God will relieve us and facilitate for us what we hope for.
The statement continued: Every capable person should strive to perform the prayer, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – and to demonstrate his lack of God Almighty, while being persistent in supplication, for God loves His servants to make frequent and persistent supplications.
