The Beheira Supply Directorate, headed by Mohamed Hadiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, implemented a ration campaign in Wadi El Natroun, as part of intensifying ration campaigns and tightening control over butane depots and gas stations to control any attempts to illegally trade in subsidized goods or raise prices, protect the rights of citizens, and ensure that support reaches those who deserve it.
A gas station was arrested for selling 48,000 liters of diesel on the black market in Beheira
The campaign resulted in the arrest of a car fuel station for disposing of 48,000 liters of diesel on the black market to make illegal profits. A report was also issued for not announcing prices, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators.
The Supply Directorate stressed the continuation of daily follow-up campaigns at gas stations and markets to confront any attempts to infringe on the rights of citizens or harm the ration system and petroleum materials in the governorate.
Earlier, the Food Control Department of the Beheira Health Directorate, in coordination with the Consumer Protection Agency, carried out oversight and inspection campaigns on markets and food establishments, which resulted in the seizure of various quantities of food unfit for human consumption, as part of the intensification of oversight campaigns on food establishments, markets, and street vendors to control any violations that may threaten the public health of citizens.
340 kg of nuts and 130 kg of expired Roumi cheese were seized, in addition to 4 sheets of white cheese with a total of 80 kg, 20 cartons of mineral water, and 50 kg of expired flour.
Eight food establishments were also visited, and 13 reports were issued for not meeting health requirements and not carrying health certificates, and the necessary legal measures were taken against violators.
