Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, inspected the medium housing project, road and axis development works, and a sewage lifting station in 6th of October City, to follow up on the work that has been and is being implemented and the status of service projects, accompanied by officials from the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the 6th of October City Authority.

On his tour, he checked Minister of Housing The medium housing project within “Housing for All Egyptians” has a total of 3,216 units with an area of ​​up to 120 square meters per unit.

The Minister of Housing listened to a detailed explanation of the project, which included road works, site coordination and finishes for the units, and delivery plans for the project, the implementation rate of which has reached an advanced stage.

The Minister of Housing was reassured about the quality of the units’ implementation, and inspected a model of two units, one of which was furnished as a model for the project, in addition to monitoring the position of the service projects, which include a nursery, places of worship, and a commercial mall on the buildings’ sites.

The Minister of Housing directed that the remaining work be quickly completed to deliver the units to their beneficiaries on the scheduled dates, implement various works in accordance with standard specifications, and continue periodic field follow-up, including site coordination work.

The Minister of Housing also inspected the Boulevard Road “Engineer Alaa Abdel Aziz Corridor” with a length of about 7 km, and listened to a detailed explanation of the project, as the work on the axis includes the duplication of the road with a length of 7 km, with a width of 4 traffic lanes in each direction between the Dahshur link to the central road, and the industrial zone, in addition to utility works along the project’s path, to serve the residents of the northern expansions and to house all Egyptians.

The Minister stressed the importance of having a specific timetable for completing the work, studying the traffic diversion plans being implemented in the region, and advancing work on the project to reduce traffic densities on other axes.

Then the Minister of Housing inspected the sewage lifting station No. 1 in the northern expansion area of ​​6th October City, which is a vital infrastructure project to serve areas such as the Jannah Project, Beit Al Watan, and the Institutions Land. It consists of 9 pumps and is served by a drainage network and an ejection line with a diameter of 1200 mm, and a large part of the networks associated with it have been completed.

It is worth noting that the road development projects include the 8 km Abdel Salam Amin Road maintenance project, and the development of the parallel central axis from the 26th of July Corridor to the Hosary Monorail Station with a main irrigation line of 300 mm diameter.
