The Supply Directorate was launched In Assiut Its external administration is carrying out intensive ration campaigns, based on the directives of the political leadership, the instructions of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and the directives of Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, to intensify ration campaigns in various parts of the governorate, and under the leadership of Engineer Khaled Mohamed Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply.
Campaigns in the field of markets resulted in the seizure of a pharmacy operating without a license, and the medications inside it were seized at Al-Fath Center, the seizure of a gas station that illegally disposed of 9,991 liters of diesel, the seizure of 500 kg of honey of unknown origin, the seizure of 34 agricultural fertilizer checks allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture and not circulated in the markets, the seizure of 1,200 underweight bottles of free oil, the seizure of 500 expired paint packages, and the seizure of agricultural pesticides. Not registered and prohibited for circulation.
Collecting food supplies in violation of the law as follows: 400 kg of sugar, 210 bottles of oil, 100 bags of pasta, collecting 6 bags of subsidized local flour without right.
Issuing reports for municipal bakeries for the disposal of 93 checks of unjustly subsidized local flour, issuing 2 reports for selling cigarettes at higher than scheduled prices, issuing 8 reports of closure for catering merchants, issuing 5 reports for not announcing the prices of food supplies, issuing 19 reports for not announcing the prices of shops, cafes, restaurants, and commercial establishments.
Second: In the field of municipal bakeries, 486 reports were issued for municipal bakeries, including the following violations: underweight, non-conformity to specifications, lack of cleanliness, lack of an advertising data board, closing with iron locks, partial stoppage, lack of a scale, disposing of quantities of flour, and not giving cash to citizens.
