According to railway sources, the authority’s lifting cranes were immediately rushed to the site of the incident, where emergency teams continue the work of restoring the containers to their correct position, in preparation for the resumption of train movement as soon as possible.

The sources confirmed to Cairo 24 that the accident did not result in any injuries among the train crew or railway workers, explaining that the decision to stop movement came as a precautionary measure until the lifting and insurance work was completed, and the necessary technical checks were carried out to ensure safe operation.

She added that operating leaders are monitoring the situation on the ground, while taking all necessary measures to reduce downtime and restore the regularity of train movement on the vital line.
