Jordanian media reported that King Abdullah II will visit the Turkish capital, Istanbul, today, Saturday, at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Reports stated that the visit will discuss bilateral relations between Jordan and Turkey, in addition to discussing current regional developments and ways to enhance stability in the region.

An official visit to Türkiye on February 7, 2026

Earlier, the head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Department, Burhanuddin Duran, announced that King Abdullah II will make an official visit to Turkey on February 7, 2026, at the invitation of President Erdogan.

Duran explained that the visit will witness meetings being held in Istanbul to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and current developments in the region, in addition to discussing possible steps to ensure regional stability.
