A selection of works by musician Mohamed Fawzi and harpist Laila Murad, presented Opera House During the Arab Heritage Music Ensemble’s concert, led by Maestro Dr. Mohamed Al-Mogy, which is held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, April 16, at the Sayed Darwish Theater of the Alexandria Opera, including Fatafeat Al-Sugar, Oh Beautiful, Oh Who Is Here, Oh Dearer Than My Eyes, Laugh like a Karkar, Oh my concern and I am your concern, I have never known love and others, performed by Muhammad Shawky, Yasser Soliman, Ahmed Sabry, Radwa Saeed, Hanan Al-Khouly, Hanan Essam. And Noha Hafez.
The Heritage Ensemble presents a concert based on the works of Fawzi and Laila Murad at the Alexandria Opera
The concert comes within the framework of the Opera House’s mission to preserve artistic identity and revive the immortal musical and lyrical heritage that has shaped the conscience of generations, in addition to disseminating the masterpieces of the creative legacy of symbols of the golden age in various governorates.
The Egyptian Opera House presented a concert by the musician of the next generation, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, in light of the Opera House’s continued celebration of the icons of Egyptian creativity. The concert was held by the Alexandria Opera Band for Arabic Music and Singing, led by Maestro Dr. Mustafa Helmy, last Thursday evening, April 9, at the Sayed Darwish Theater.
The program included selections from the famous compositions of generational musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab, which formed part of the history of Arab music and singing, including: Don’t Lie, Bearer of Asia, Oh, If You Know, Think of Me, Above Thorns, O Traveler Alone, All of this was for him, without a reason, and others, performed by Marwa Hamdy, Nada Ghaleb, Sarah Magdy, Alaa Ayoub, Yasser Saeed, Ayman Mustafa, Mustafa Saad, Amir Rifai.
