The delegation of the first national team for Paralympic badminton leaves today, Friday, for Bahrain to participate in the World Championship, which is scheduled to be held from February 6 to 14.
The delegation includes: Shaima Sami – Muhammad Rashad – Muhammad Hassan – Tariq Abbas – John Khaled – Yasmina Issa – Rahma Ahmed – Shahenda Ibrahim – Basmala Hashem.
The Egyptian team is technically led by Technical Director Mohamed Atef, while all the details of the mission are supervised by Shehab Yahya, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Badminton Federation.
The Badminton Federation, headed by Dr. Hadia Hosni, was keen to support the national team’s players and urge them to achieve positive results in the world championship.
