He added in his statements: And other lies, the most recent of which was the allegation of my interference in the events of the Al-Ahly and Ceramica match, linking my being from Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, which I am proud of, with the presence of Mahmoud Wafa, the referee of the match, who is also from Kafr El-Sheikh. Many people overlooked that like some of the heroes of the events, Al-Ahly club captain Mohamed El-Shenawy, who was expelled, is not from Kafr El-Sheikh, but from Al-Hamoul, my country, and the son of the club, whose president I was, and I signed his transfer to Al-Ahly in the youth stages.
He continued his speech by explaining: Also, Mahmoud Trezeguet, who is the son of Kafr El-Sheikh, and I had a good relationship with his father, and I was like an older brother to his brothers Ahmed, who is a former coach for Al-Hamoul, and Mohamed, who played for the Al-Hamoul club, and I trained him. The match observer is also Captain Hossam Al-Nashili, who is also from Kafr El-Sheikh. The governorate also removed referee Mahmoud Al-Banna, who is one of the best referees over the past years, and it was often said that I supported him, and he was competent and did not need support, but he was excluded from the list. If I had had a hand or been a decision-maker, he would not have been removed from the international list.
