Honored by Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor AswanNubian artist and singer Ahmed Ismail, son of the village of Masmus, affiliated with the Nasr Al-Nuba Center, presented him with a certificate of appreciation and the governorate’s shield as an expression of pride in the artistic creativity he presents that reflects the authentic cultural identity.

The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum is a global event

Dr. Ismail Kamal praised the distinguished performance of the artist Ahmed Ismail, which was clearly demonstrated during his honorable participation in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, a global event witnessed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and with the participation of a number of heads of state, senior officials and official delegations from various countries of the world, stressing that this appearance reflects the civilizational and cultural image of Aswan Governorate on the local and international levels.

For his part, the artist Ahmed Ismail expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Governor of Aswan for this honor and moral support, stressing that this generous gesture represents a strong incentive to continue his artistic career in the service of Egyptian art, and work to highlight and transfer the ancient culture and heritage of Nubia to future generations.

The artist Ahmed Ismail explained that, based on what was discussed during his meeting with the Governor of Aswan, coordination will be made with the competent authorities in the culture sector to participate in a number of cultural and artistic festivals and events inside and outside the governorate, in a way that contributes to reviving the authentic Nubian heritage and making it known on a broader scale.
