She declared Financial Supervision Authority About being satisfied with the period of suspension of Widyan Securities Brokerage Company, and allowing it to carry out its activity as of the session of Monday, January 26, 2026.
This came with reference to the decision of the Chairman of the Authority dated 12/30/2025 No. 3144 of 2025, which included in its first article the suspension of the company from practicing securities brokerage activity for a period of 30 days, in accordance with the provisions of Article (30) of the Capital Market Law promulgated by Law No. 95 of 1992.

The Authority explained to the Egyptian Stock Exchange that, after presenting the matter to the Chairman of the Authority, the completion of the procedures for the text of Article 30 was halted, in light of the company taking corrective measures to remove the violations, and the duration of the suspension was sufficient, so that activity would resume normally starting from the specified day’s session.
Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Financial Supervision Authority, said that two companies submitted two applications to use the title insurance product, and one company’s application was approved and the other application is being studied.
In another context, Farid explained during the conference revealing the harvest of the non-banking financial sector, that real estate financing companies granted customers financing worth approximately 36.4 billion pounds during the year 2025, compared to about 22.1 billion pounds during the year 2024, achieving a growth rate of 66.4%.
Farid pointed out that the value of financial leasing contracts recorded about 160.8 billion pounds during the year 2025, compared to 102.1 billion pounds during the year 2024, with an increase rate of 57.5%.
He added that the value of the discounted securities amounted to about 113.4 billion pounds at the end of 2025, compared to about 63.1 billion pounds at the end of 2024, achieving a growth rate of 79.8%.
