Dr. Gamal Shaaban, former dean of the National Heart Institute, confirmed that presidential initiatives had a major role in protecting citizens from difficult diseases, explaining that the “100 Million Health” initiative was able to eliminate serious diseases, and that Egypt had become free of Hepatitis C.

The former dean of the National Heart Institute added, during television statements, that whoever denies the efforts and achievements made by presidential initiatives is an ungrateful person, and that many families have benefited from presidential initiatives that have proven to be very successful.
He explained that he is calling for a presidential initiative to adopt “100 million mental health”, because the psychological state is in a bad situation, and some citizens suffer from psychological problems, and we need an initiative to examine these cases.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Health has a hotline number to follow up on psychological cases, but we need a public initiative to help citizens psychologically.
