One person was killed and 11 others injured in a microbus overturn in Assiut
Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from the warden of the Manfalut Police Station that a report had been received from the rescue operations room, of a microbus overturning accident on the Manfalut/Dakhla road, with deaths and injuries.
Police and ambulance officers went to the accident site, and the inspection and examination revealed that a microbus had overturned. The accident resulted in the death of a young man and the injury of 11 others, including 3 in serious condition.
The injured were immediately transferred to Assiut University Hospital and Manfalut Central Hospital, and the body was transferred to the morgue of Manfalut Central Hospital. A report was drawn up regarding the incident.
