The Ministry of Education and Technical Education confirmed the regularity of classes in all schools nationwide during the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that student attendance is mandatory, with the recording of absence being activated on a daily basis for all students without exception.
The Ministry explained that school discipline also includes teachers, as attendance is monitored and full adherence to the established time map, to ensure that the educational process proceeds naturally and regularly throughout the holy month.

She pointed out that the educational directorates and their affiliated departments are responsible for organizing the school day’s schedule in a way that suits the nature of the holy month, while adhering to the minimum time period for the study session in accordance with the decisions regulating that, in order to achieve a balance between the regularity of study and taking into account the special circumstances of the month.
The Ministry confirmed the continuation of field follow-up by educational leaders to ensure that instructions are implemented within schools, and that the curriculum or the planned study plan are not affected, stressing that the students’ educational interest comes first, and that any violation of attendance and discipline instructions will be dealt with in accordance with the organizing regulations.
