Samsung has officially announced the launch date of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, and at the same time opened the door for pre-booking for the new devices.

The company has set February 25 as the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event, after a wave of leaks that indicated this date. The event will be held in San Francisco with a live broadcast on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel.

In a related context, Samsung has begun receiving pre-booking requests. Customers can pay a small fee to get priority purchasing, while registrants in some other markets receive a $30 or €30 voucher, along with additional benefits such as redemption bonuses and chances to win other vouchers.

Although the official launch date is approaching, the leaks have already revealed most of the main specifications of the phones. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will operate with the Exynos 2600 processor in most markets, while maintaining the same screen sizes compared to the previous generation.

The two phones will come with 12 GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S26 will have a 4,300 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S26+ will retain a 4,900 mAh battery as in the previous version. The information indicates that there have been no major changes in the resolution of the rear cameras for both models.

As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it will rely on a customized version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, with a 5,000 mAh battery and support for wired charging with a capacity of up to 60 watts and wireless with a capacity of 25 watts.

Although the camera resolutions are stable, the lenses are expected to come with wider apertures to improve performance in different lighting conditions.
