Sonaa Al-Khair Foundation for Development, a member of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, announced the delivery of an ophthalmology device, Model: OMS – 90, to Al-Azhar University Hospital in Assiut.

This comes within the framework of efforts FoundationIn eliminating eye diseases and causes of blindness and supporting ophthalmology hospitals with the latest medical devices.

The ophthalmology device is one of the most important basic medical devices used in eye operations. It is a precise surgical microscope for performing cataract operations and helps in removing the cataract lens and implanting the intraocular lens in an accurate and scientific manner, as well as eye muscle surgery (squint surgery), and thus contributes to providing distinguished medical services to patients.

This comes within the “Your Eyes in Our Eyes” initiative, which is organized under the auspices of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and within the framework of the efforts made by the Sonaa Al-Khair Foundation for Development in the health sector, which is not limited to the medical convoys it carries out in various governorates, which include examination, treatment and operations for deserving cases only, but also includes supporting hospitals with the latest equipment to provide the best services to citizens.

The Foundation is also keen to fully coordinate in this regard with various state institutions and the private sector, within the framework of the efforts of the National Alliance for Private Development Action, to support the health system in Egypt and improve the quality of life for citizens.
