The Egyptian Basketball Federation, headed by Amr Moselhy, announced that the security authorities approved the attendance of 1,200 fans in the semi-final and final matches of the Egyptian Cup for Men, which are scheduled to be held at the Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City.
The Federation explained that the public attendance will be 600 fans for each team, with tickets to be reserved through the “Tazkarti” website, at a standard price of 100 pounds per ticket.
Al-Ahly, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, Zamalek, and Telecom Egypt qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament, after a strong journey in the quarter-finals.
The two semi-final matches are scheduled to be held next Friday, with Al-Ittihad of Alexandria meeting Telecom Egypt at five o’clock in the evening, while Zamalek will face its counterpart Al-Ahly at exactly eight-thirty in the evening, at Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall.
The final match will be held on Sunday, April 19, at eight o’clock in the evening, and will be preceded by a match to determine the third and fourth places at exactly five o’clock in the evening.
The quarter-final matches resulted in Al-Ahly defeating Petrojet, and Zamalek qualified at the expense of Al-Shams, while the Telecom Egypt team surpassed its counterpart Sporting, and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria succeeded in crossing into the semi-finals after defeating Al-Jazira.
