
The Ministry of Endowments announced that the closing ceremony of the first season of the program State of recitation It will be held on the night of the twenty-seventh of Ramadan, coinciding with Laylat al-Qadr, the night on which the Holy Qur’an was revealed.
The ceremony also witnesses the conclusion of the 32nd edition of the International Holy Quran Competition, in which President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honors the winners from various countries of the world. This will be while honoring the stars of the country of recitation from within Egypt, in a majestic scene that combines the celebration of the people of the Qur’an globally and the celebration of promising Egyptian talents.

5 contestants in the final stage
Dr. Osama Al-Azhar, Minister of Endowments, confirmed that the competition has reached its final stage with five contestants in the final stage, where a winner will be chosen in the intonation category, a winner in the recitation category, in addition to a third winner determined by the public vote.
Competition jury
To ensure transparency, a committee of Holy Qur’an experts was formed, including 9 members, which will review all the recordings of the five contestants. The names of the winners will be placed in sealed envelopes and announced to the Egyptian people during the ceremony, which will include multiple activities.
The Minister of Endowments indicated that the Ministry will not be satisfied with the success of the current version, but will begin, immediately after the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the arrangements for launching the second season of the program, in continuation of Egypt’s pioneering role in caring for golden throats.
