The Ministry of Labor announced the creation of new job opportunities, in cooperation with Nekemet, one of the companies working in the Dabaa nuclear project.
The Ministry explained that the available job opportunities include a number of technical professions required in the project, including: armed blacksmith, armed carpenter, forger, metal structure installation technician, argon welder, and electric welder, with lucrative salaries starting from 14,250 pounds and up to 35,000 pounds according to profession and experience.
Heba Ahmed, Director General of the General Administration of Employment, indicated that tests for applicants will be conducted from Sunday, January 18, 2026 until January 22, 2026, at the training center in Qena Governorate only… She stressed that the available jobs provide many benefits, including: three meals a day, adequate housing, water, internal means of transportation to and from work sites, in addition to a regular work system that includes 24 days of work and 6 days of rest… She stressed that these opportunities come within her efforts. Continuing to link training to employment, and meeting the needs of national projects for skilled workers, stressing that special salaries will be granted for highly qualified professional skills… She called on those wishing to join these opportunities to go on the specified dates to the testing headquarters, while adhering to all instructions regulating the process.
