The villages of the Martyrs Center in Menoufia Governorate received the activities of the “Tamkeen” initiative, which aims to train and qualify young men and women to keep pace with the needs of the labor market, within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Local Development and one of the institutions affiliated with the National Alliance for Private Developmental Action, and with the participation of the Ministries of Social Solidarity and Labor.
Empowerment initiative in Menoufia
Mohammed Al-Zarqani, head of the Martyrs Center and City, accompanied by Mohammed Al-Sheikh, head of the village unit in Denshawai, followed the activities of the initiative at the Denshawai Youth Center, which includes specialized training programs to develop the skills of young men and women in a number of different crafts, in a way that supports their ability to create small projects that provide them with a sustainable income.
The initiative also includes expanded courses on financial inclusion, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship, to enhance trainees’ economic culture and enable them to deal with modern market requirements.
Objectives of the Empowerment Initiative in Menoufia
Tamkeen also provides medical convoys for free examination and treatment for residents, which contributes to raising the level of health services within the targeted villages and alleviating the burden on citizens by providing examinations and treatments in various specialties.
The initiative’s activities will continue at the Denshway Youth Center from yesterday and today, and will continue its work at the Zawiyat Al-Baqli Youth Center on December 14 and 15, then at the Kafr Hegazy Youth Center on December 17 and 18.
The implementation of the initiative comes in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, who stressed the provision of all facilities to ensure the success of “Tamkeen” activities within the villages, due to the training and health services it provides that contribute to empowering citizens and creating real job opportunities that help them improve their standard of living.
