The Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate ended trading on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, with a decline of approximately 28 piasters against Egyptian pound Compared to the levels recorded at the beginning of the day. Despite the general decline, prices witnessed wide variation between banks, especially in purchase prices, which reflects a state of variation in the evaluation of the Kuwaiti currency within the banking market.

Kuwait Finance House Bank came at the forefront of banks, recording the highest price for buying the dinar, reaching 155.76 pounds, while their selling price reached 156.14 pounds. As for the highest selling price, it was recorded by the Bank of the Banking Company at 156.64 pounds, with a purchase price of 155.24 pounds.

Performance of national and Gulf banks

Major national banks recorded buying levels close to each other, but… Less than investment banks. The price of the Kuwaiti dinar in Banque Misr reached 154.95 pounds for purchase, and 156.60 pounds for sale. While the National Bank of Egypt recorded a purchase price of 154.50 pounds, and 155.60 pounds for sale. As for Cairo Bank, it recorded 154.67 pounds for purchase, and 155.70 pounds for sale.

At the same time, some Gulf and mixed banks recorded relatively low purchase prices, as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank recorded a purchase price of 151.75 pounds, while the National Bank of Kuwait recorded a purchase price of 150.96 pounds, and the lowest purchase price came from the Export Development Bank at 150.43 pounds. This large discrepancy in purchase prices reflects a margin of more than 6 pounds between the highest and lowest price.
