Sony has officially revealed the list of free PS Plus games for January 2026, giving players a fresh start with the first games of the year. Availability begins on January 6 for PlayStation Plus subscribers in its Essential, Extra, and Deluxe categories.

Earlier today, one of this month’s headlines leaked, and now it turns out to be true. Need For Speed Unbound joins the list of free January games.

This title is the latest major release in the long-running Need For Speed series, and was released in 2022.

Although it was previously included in the PS Plus game library for the Extra and Deluxe categories, which allowed a large number of subscribers to try it, this time its presence among the free games makes the opportunity available to those who have not played it yet.

In addition, Core Keeper joins the lineup this month. This game offers a sandbox-style adventure experience within a world based on mining and exploration, and can be played individually or within a team of up to eight players over the Internet.

Its events take place inside huge caves full of secrets, creatures and mysterious relics that are waiting to be discovered step by step.

The third game is Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, which is a completely redeveloped version of the original Epic Mickey game.

The game re-presents the adventure in the form of colorful 3D platforms, with stages based on exploration, puzzle solving, and collecting items such as Disney badges, in addition to the appearance of classic characters, most notably Oswald The Lucky Rabbit.

Before the new games officially arrive, players still have a chance to get the free December 2025 games, which include LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo Of Ada, and Neon White. These games will continue to be available until January 5th, before being replaced by the new January list.
