For the second and final day in a row in the south of Sohag Governorate, the electoral committees in Al-Balina Center opened their doors on Wednesday morning to receive voters to vote in the House of Representatives elections in the district canceled by the Administrative Court ruling, amid an increasing turnout of citizens wishing to cast their votes, and in light of strict organizational and security measures to ensure the electoral process runs smoothly.

Yesterday, the polling stations witnessed a significant influx of voters, especially men, amid high security from the police.

Earlier, Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Serag, Governor of Sohag, announced the readiness of 48 electoral headquarters and 55 subcommittees in the canceled seventh district of the Balina Center, in preparation for receiving 354,447 voters in the 2025 House of Representatives elections, during the days of December 10 and 11, in implementation of the decision of the National Elections Authority.

The Governor of Sohag stressed the concerned authorities to review the final preparations and provide full support for the electoral process, while raising the degree of preparedness in the operating rooms and linking them to the national emergency network, and coordinating with the Security Directorate to secure the polls, in addition to providing administrative needs, preparing the waiting areas for voters, and intensifying cleaning and lighting work around the election polls.
