The competent investigation authorities in Cairo ordered the forensic laboratory to be assigned to examine the causes of a fire that broke out inside a Syrian food restaurant in Al-Salam City. This is to prepare a detailed report on the incident and its circumstances.

The beginning was when the emergency operations room received a report indicating that a fire had broken out in the restaurant, and fire engines were immediately dispatched to the location of the report.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that the fire broke out in the entire area of the restaurant, which is estimated at about 40 square meters, before the flames spread to the front of a neighboring store, Arabesque, which sells curtains and fabrics. The fire also spread to an apartment hall on the first floor of the property, which is used as a hairdresser.
The property consists of a ground floor and four upper floors, and the civil protection forces were able to control the fire and extinguish it completely, while implementing the necessary cooling and ventilation works, and ensuring that there was no risk of the fire spreading to the rest of the neighborhoods.
The fire did not result in any injuries or detainees, and the competent authorities are undertaking the necessary procedures to determine the causes of the outbreak of the fire and determine the losses.
