Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Port Said, inspected the construction work of the new Al-Masry Club Stadium, to follow up on the current executive position of the project and discuss mechanisms for accelerating work rates, stressing that there are no current financial arrears on the governorate according to the financial position of implementing the project.
Spending 50 million pounds to accelerate the pace of work at the new Al-Masry Club Stadium
The governor held an extensive meeting inside the stadium, during which he listened to a detailed explanation from Engineer Muhammad Kassab and Engineer Muhammad al-Qadi, the project managers, about the implementation developments, where it was confirmed that 100% of the construction work had been completed, and that the total completion rate had reached about 80%, with a review of the complete engineering plan and the various components of the project.
The governor followed up on the work rates at the site, stressing the need to adhere to the specified timetable, and to intensify efforts to complete the work as quickly as possible, in order to achieve the dream of the Al-Masry Club fans of restoring the stadium to its full capacity.
The Governor of Port Said decided to disburse an amount of 50 million pounds to advance the pace of work on the project, with the aim of quickly resuming implementation after the previous suspension period, and accelerating completion rates during the next stage.

In the same context, the governor made an urgent phone call with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nile Valley Company, the company executing the project, where it was agreed to resume intensive work starting next week, with an increase in the number of workers and equipment at the site, to ensure the speedy completion of the project in a manner befitting the history and heritage of the Egyptian Club and its fans.
