The Mostaqbal Watan Party held an extensive meeting with Engineer Karim Badawy, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in the presence of Representative Ahmed Abdel Gawad, Vice President of the Party and Secretary-General, the Vice-Presidents of the Party, office bodies, members of the relevant specific committees, members of the Central Secretariat, and a number of Ministry leaders, within the framework of the meetings held by the Party with members of the government.

Representative Ahmed Abdel Gawad confirmed that the Mostaqbal Watan Party continues to perform its national role by supporting the Egyptian state and political leadership, and continuous coordination with the government to implement the comprehensive development plans pursued by the state, stressing that supporting the citizen and improving the quality of his life represent the party’s main goal, in light of its legislative and oversight role and its responsibility towards the Egyptian street.

He pointed out that the petroleum and mineral resources sector represents one of the basic pillars of national economic security, and that the current stage requires the solidarity of all state institutions to ensure the sustainability of energy resources and maximize their use in a way that serves the plans of the new republic.

For his part, the Minister of Petroleum stressed that coordination and consultation with the Mostaqbal Watan Party aims primarily to achieve the public good, pointing out that the government is keen to improve the quality of services provided to citizens, raise the efficiency of the petroleum products distribution system, and expand natural gas networks, in a way that contributes to improving the standard of living of citizens in various governorates.

The meeting witnessed extensive discussions that dealt with a number of files related to the needs of citizens, as party representatives presented visions and proposals that reflect the pulse of the street, within a framework of full cooperation between the executive authority and the party’s parliamentary body in support of the development process witnessed by the Egyptian state under rational political leadership.
