Comment Reader Muhammad Al-Mallah On the viral video of him, while he was reciting verses from the Qur’an among a large crowd of people in Pakistan, when a person approached him and threw money at him, in what is popularly known as “the point,” which sparked great criticism of him.

Al-Mallah said in statements to Cairo: Throwing money at the reader during recitation in Pakistan is their culture, customs and traditions known in their country, which express their intense love for the reader during recitation, and those of the readers who have traveled to read and recite in Pakistan know this culture well, and they are foreigners who do not speak Arabic.

He explained: The reciter is not required to change their culture, and during the recitation the reciter cannot focus on everything that is happening in the ceremony, or order them to remain silent during the recitation, and most of the reciters do not speak the Urdu language so they can order them to undo this act.

The navigating reader about the video of “The Point” during his reading of the Qur’an in Pakistan: Why are there two links that money is thrown at the dancer?.. These are their customs

He added: Every person present and attending the recitation wants to express his admiration in his own way that suits his culture, customs and traditions, but I support and side with those who reject this culture and I reject it and against these many inappropriate actions that occur during the recitation.

Al-Mallah continued: Yesterday, there was a reader reading the Qur’an, and 5 Pakistani businessmen came to him and distributed a lot of money to him, and this happens all the time, and I will not change their system nor have anything to do with them. I am just coming to read the Qur’an, and I am an Azhari man, a graduate of Qur’anic readings and sciences at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

He added: Any reader who goes to Pakistan will have money thrown at him, and no reader can tell them not to do that. If someone objects, they will think that you are insulting him and a very big problem could happen. It is their culture. I am just wondering why people are so attached to the fact that money is thrown at the dancer, why two people?
