Major General Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, responded to the people of Bedouin communities and valleys to provide transportation back and forth for middle school students in the cities of South Sinai.
A member of the House of Representatives had submitted a request to the Governor of South Sinai to exclude students from the valleys of South Sinai from taking the exam in remote places, or to provide them with transportation back and forth to take the exams of the first semester of the preparatory certificate exams for the academic year 2026/2028.
Major General Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, immediately responded to the MP’s demands and ordered the provision of transportation in every city to transport students from the valleys and Bedouin communities to the cities to take the mid-year exam for the preparatory certificate.
The decision was welcomed and accepted by Bedouin parents, to provide a group means of transportation for students daily to take the mid-year exam.
It is worth noting that students in South Sinai took the first day of the preparatory certificate exams today within 50 exam committees in 8 educational departments. The students took the Arabic language, calligraphy, and dictation exam for two and a half hours, amid security restrictions and warnings prohibiting the entry of mobile phones.
