Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, former Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs, said that he spent about 19 months in a mission assigned to him within the composition of the Egyptian administration, expressing his gratitude to the political leadership for giving him the opportunity to work during an important chapter in the life of the new republic.
Fawzi added, in a post on his page on the social networking site Facebook, that he thanked the political leadership for the trust placed in him, congratulating Chancellor Hani Hanna Azer and the new ministers on assuming responsibility, and wishing them success in performing their duties.
Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi explained that the ministry is an “assignment” with the word’s commitment, mission, and duties, and at the same time it is an “honor” because serving Egypt is an honor beyond honor, stressing that a loyal Egyptian does not delay performing his duty if called upon to do so, and will remain at the disposal of his country in any location.
Fawzi stressed that he was pleased with the trust bestowed upon him, and honored by his public service, noting that gratitude is not affected by changing positions. He thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as he is a responsible leader who combines decisiveness, objectivity, guidance and support.
Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi concluded his post by saying: I have a gold medal on my chest. He was given the opportunity to work in the service of Egypt, considering that the medal bestowed upon him by the President represents a source of pride, affirming his continued loyalty to the values he worked for during his tenure in office, and thanking God at the beginning and at the end.
