The funeral will be held at the Hassan Sharbatly Mosque
The body of the deceased was buried today after the noon prayer from the Hassan Sharbatly Mosque in New Cairo, in the presence of family members, relatives, and a number of friends and lovers, where an atmosphere of sadness and supplication prevailed during the funeral ceremony.
With touching words, Zeina mourns her brother
The artist, Zeina, announced the death of her brother through her official Facebook account, and wrote, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. He passed away to God’s mercy. My brother, my son, my beloved, and my support in this world, who has no one else after our Lord, my brother, my beloved, Islam Reda Ismail.”
She also explained that the funeral prayer was held today, Tuesday, February 24, after the noon prayer at the Hassan Sharbatly Mosque in New Cairo.

Zeina’s last work was the series Roses and Chocolate, which co-starred with Mohamed Farrag, Maha Nassar, Maryam Al-Khasht, Murad Makram, Safaa Al-Toukhi, Mohamed Soliman, Amr Mahdi, and Bassam Ragab, along with a group of young faces, including Youssef Hashish and Aya Selim.
The series is written by Mohamed Rajaa, directed by Mando Al-Adl, and produced by Al-Adl Group by producer Jamal Al-Adl.
The works of the artist Zeina
The artist Zeina presented a diverse cinematic career that began in 2000 with the movie Land of Fear in the role of Hanaa, then she participated in Love in 2004, and her works continued in 2005 through Sayed Al-Atefi and Life is Extremely Pleasant, before she appeared in 2006 in the films 90 Minutes and Zaza.
In 2007, she participated in Al-Ghabah and Al-Jazeera, then she presented several works in 2008, including Captain Hema, Trapezium, and Puskas.
She continued to diversify her roles through One Zero, then three films in 2010: Two Girls from Misr, Bulbul Hairan, and Al-Kibar. She also participated in Al-Maslahah, Al-Dasas, Al-Laila Al-Kabir, and Haz Downtown, then Karma and Al-Fous, leading to her latest cinematic work, Al-Iskandarani, in 2024.
