Today, Sunday, the handball team begins its campaign in the main round of the African Cup of Nations Handball Championship, with a strong confrontation against the Algerian national team, after the two teams successfully qualified from the group stage.

The handball team match against Algeria is scheduled to be held at 4:30 pm Cairo time, and will be broadcast on the On Sport channel, which has obtained the rights to broadcast the tournament.
It is expected that the main round of the African Cup of Nations Men’s Handball Championship, currently being held in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, will begin today, Sunday, with the participation of the continent’s strongest teams.
The Egyptian national team had secured the qualification ticket to the main round, topping its group with a full mark, after achieving victory in all its matches against the teams of Gabon, Angola and Uganda, confirming its readiness to compete for the continental title.
On the other hand, the Algerian national team officially advanced to the main round after its great victory over the Zambian national team, with a score of 37-21, at the end of the group stage matches, setting a date with the Pharaohs in opening their campaign in the decisive stage.
