The father of the victim, called Karima, known in the media, said: Bride of Menoufiawho was killed by her husband after only four months of marriage, said that his daughter’s neighbor informed him of her death, and when he arrived at her house, he found her lying with blue covering her face and clear bruises on her body.
He explained to Cairo 24 that his daughter was calm and was enduring in order to continue her married life, but her husband – according to him – betrayed her and killed her and her fetus.
The grieving father added: “For God’s sake… he killed the souls of my daughter and her child, and deprived me of them, and I want her rights… to be executed and die as he killed her.”
The security authorities are continuing their investigations into the incident to uncover the circumstances of the accident and complete the necessary legal procedures.
Quesna Police Station investigators arrested the accused husband, a worker from one of the center’s villages, following a report of the killing of a housewife inside the marital home.
Major General Alaa Al-Jahir, Director of Menoufia Security, received a notification from Brigadier General Nabil Muslim, Commissioner of the Quesna Police Station, that a report had been received about the incident. Immediately, a security force moved to the site of the incident, and the accused was detained and questioned. Legal measures were taken and the investigation authorities who had begun their work were notified.
