Today, Thursday, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated in the ceremony held by the Japanese Embassy in Cairo on the occasion of celebrating the birthday of Japanese Emperor Naruhito, on behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. The Minister was received upon his arrival at the ceremony, which was held at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Cairo, Ambassador Fumio Iwai, in a gesture that reflects the depth and strength of the distinguished bilateral relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and Japan.
During his participation in the celebration, the Minister conveyed, during his speech, the sincere greetings and appreciation of the leadership and people of Egypt to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, along with his sincere wishes for good health, prosperity and prosperity during the “Rewa” era, which is the era that embodies the meaning of beautiful harmony, stressing the depth of the relations of friendship and strategic cooperation between Egypt and Japan, which enjoy an ancient civilization steeped in the depths of history, for each of them, in appreciation and pride in this history, and that distinct culture of each of them, to As well as ensuring sustainability.
The minister said that Egypt and Japan are always looking towards achieving a bright future, and believe that originality and innovation should go hand in hand.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif added, in his speech, saying: “During the reign of the Emperor, Japan continues to embody the values of dignity and stability, and works to consolidate the foundations of peace and international cooperation. The symbolic role of His Majesty – as a symbol of unity – also reflects the strength of a nation that respects its past and reshapes its future with calm and confident determination,” stressing that the strategic partnership between Egypt and Japan is based on these same principles.
He explained that cooperation between the two countries extends to include several areas, from economic development, cultural exchange, to education, which is the most prominent in the two countries’ journey, as Japan was, and still is, a reliable and inspiring partner in supporting Egypt’s efforts to develop and advance its educational system.
The Minister of Education pointed out that cooperation in the education file between the two countries and its development is clearly embodied in Egyptian-Japanese schools to broader initiatives in the fields of technical education and higher education, which reflects a shared belief that education is the basis of national progress and the preservation of human dignity.
The Minister explained that what distinguishes the Egypt-Japan partnership is not only its size, but its spirit, the spirit of mutual respect, practical cooperation, and long-term vision, saying: While we celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor, we also celebrate the solid friendship between our two countries. A friendship based on trust, strengthened by values, and inspired by a shared commitment to building a better future for our two peoples.
The Minister of Education concluded his speech by expressing his hopes that the ties between Egypt and Japan would grow stronger and more prosperous year after year, saying: On behalf of the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, I renew my sincere congratulations to the Emperor, and express the highest expressions of appreciation and gratitude to the friendly Japanese people.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of Dr. Hani Helal, Secretary of the Egyptian-Japanese Partnership for Education, Ambassador Mohamed Abu Bakr, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, a number of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and representatives of international bodies, in addition to a group of public figures, businessmen, and representatives of educational and cultural institutions.
