The box office on Friday, January 9, 2026 witnessed strong competition between a number of films currently showing, with continued public demand and a diversity of cinematic choices.

In second place came the movie Divorce Me, with revenues amounting to 1,012,612 pounds, with 6,878 tickets sold, confirming its strong presence among the films of the season.
As for the movie Passport and Funeral, it continued to achieve stable numbers, recording 805,168 pounds, with 4,879 viewers, benefiting from its comedic character and family appeal.
The film The Atheist recorded revenues of 350,006 pounds, with 2,292 tickets, while the movie We Have Love in Imagination achieved 217,051 pounds, with 2,012 viewers.
In the same range, the movie Al-Sitt achieved revenues of 215,084 pounds, followed by the movie Cologne with revenues of 210,267 pounds, with attendance numbers similar between the two films.
The movie The Snake and Ladder also recorded 163,803 pounds, while The Gentlemen achieved revenues of 71,854 pounds, and the movie New Year’s Map came in with revenues of 29,087 pounds.
Film distributor Mahmoud Al-Dafrawi confirmed, in a statement a short while ago, that yesterday’s total revenues amounted to about 5,767,904 pounds, with a total number of tickets: 38,704 tickets.
